Today Meteorological Department of India posted two warning message on their official Facebook page about cyclone Nilam. First message five hours ago says

CYCLONE ALERT :

Cyclonic Storm (Nilam) lies centred at 0300 UTC of today, over southwest Bay of Bengal within half a degree of Lat. 9.0° N / Long. 82.0° E, about 500 kms south-southeast of Chennai. The system would move northwestwards and cross
north Tamil Nadu – south Andhra Pradesh coasts between Nagapattinam and Nellore by evening of 31st October 2012.

Second Message two hours ago say

The second warning specifically warned for Tamilnadu, Pondicherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts. On Twitter Cyclone Nilam is trending on top since noon.
