Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda has won first medal for India in Paralympics 2012

Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda has won the first medal for India in the ongoing Paralympics 2012 at London. He won the medal in high jump category.He has jumped a height of 1.74 m in final and finished with Silver medal. Girisha has been supported by a Bangalore based NGO Samarthanam. Girisha news of winning a silver medal has not got any attention from main stream news-channel.

On Twitter people are congratulating and also complaining about the minimum attention this news has got.
