Google remembers and honor’s Amelia Mary Earhart through Google Doodle. Amelia Mary Earhart was born on 24th July 1897 in Atchison in Kansas. Amelia  Earhart one of the pioneer of aviation in America.  Amelia Earhart was the first to fly solo across the Atlantic ocean.  She received the U.S. Distinguished Flying Cross for her record. A career having many facets from pilot, adventurer, author and supporter of equal rights for women.

She played an important role in formation of The ninety nine. Amelia Mary Earhart disappeared in 1937 during a circumnavigation flight of the Globe in 1937.
